Darley First Responders are a group of Ambulance Service volunteers who, in their own time, respond to emergency and urgent 999 calls on behalf of East Midlands Ambulance Service.
We all receive comprehensive training from the ambulance service and we also undergo continuous requalification and CPD to expand our skillset.
Unfortunately, all of the equipment we utilise needs to be provided by our scheme or self-bought, you can learn more about this in our kit pages.
Our responders come from all backgrounds and they all have their own day jobs, our team currently consists of Engineers, physical and digital security specialists, school staff, teachers, first aid instructors and university students.
Find out a little more about some of our team members below.
Please note that some or our responders are a little shy. Pictures and bios are forthcoming.
